Blending the erotic with the dark and strange, Evan Butterfield's photography explores a world that's weird and whimsical, and sometimes just a little bit nightmarish. Combining the beauty of male figure studies with a variety of his own hand-crafted fantasy and steampunk-adjacent creations, Evan's work features odd, disturbing, and impractical accessories, eyewear, masks, and other props. The resulting images are basically all about contrast: exposed, vulnerable skin and  spikey, rusty stuff; monochrome images with flashes of color; the play of light and shadow on unusually posed male bodies.
