Homo Luminus

Homo Luminus

Categorized by most natural biologists in the Imperial Academy as "homo luminus" (man of light), a distinct species of humanoid clearly differentiated from homo sapien, the fae or ur-naturals have been resident in much of the world for a period of time that is at best uncertain. References to the fae may be found in the earliest recorded histories around the world, in cultures that otherwise share little or nothing in common. The fae themselves claim--albeit vaguely--a greater longevity ("perch'd were we on the pillars of the storm, was then, when this little ball still warm'd beneath the fires and terrible clouds of its forming was, and dark." That noted photogryphist Luxet Tenebrae was able to capture formal images of several fae is a truly remarkable feat, and of great value to scholars.
